Is anyone having a problem getting the doors fully open or having problems adjusting the doors on a OTIS 211 with a QL Operator ?

Do a learn run. If it doesn't seem to work, make sure the cam is tight or hasn't moved.Dan

Dan,Done that, still can't get doors fully open... adjustments don't seem to work...
Have had this on service for a bit, got it right after free service expired...
Found out from a OTIS adjuster that there is an eeprom in the door operator specifically burned for that unit... When OTIS loses a contract they put a default eeprom in the operator so you won't have any adjustment...
Just curious if ya'll had similar problems...

We never changed any eproms in the units when we lost them. Never heard of a job specific prom for a QL.Is the learn run failing when you run it? When did the problem start?
Make sure the inductors are close enough to the cam to pick it up, make sure they are making, and make sure that the cam is positioned right. It should just make on each limit of stroke. If someone screwed with it, and got it turned around the wrong way you'll have all kinds of problems.

if you do whit the test tool a automatic learn run, you miss 4 imputs, you have to do set de lenght of the door, type motor, tld/co doors, than doorwidth, default = 900, maybe change this i look into it....

I bet your the one in your office that has an underlying worry that everyone else in your office is making more than you...
