The month of February is coming to an end, with the last Sunday of the month coming this weekend. Rodney Parsley's outfit has been reported to have had some things going in his church this month on the commemorating the African-American History Month. The Online Christian Recorder reported a competition on the history matter related to the AME Church. Can we hear of any exciting events from the members of the board?

Even as this is the African-American Month, I am aware that there are several events in SOuth Africa about the month, especially focusing on black people's histories. At the Church I sherperd, I have called on the members to celebrate major events in the history of Black people, among the Founder's Day.

The controversial being the congregation coming to church on the last Sunday of February wearing African traditional wears and the elements of the holy communion being the african wine (umgqombothi) and bread cooked in traditional ways. Instead of glasses, we will use a calabash and lay African traditional mats on the floor to lay the elements.

I receintly read the newly passed legislation that on fouders day, according to the bill each district in Africa should celebrate the founders day on the day of which the AME church was established in that district (outside the American continent).

For example, we in the 19th, we should celebrate this day during the day AME Church was founded in South Africa by M.M. Mokone.
