God, we give thanks to thee, in thy life and hy salvation that thou offers us, even though we are unworthy.Forgive us, Lord God, in grace and the solomn promise of our ways, and give us our hope, our blessings, and Our Joy.
I grant thee peace oh Lord, and ask thy peace, Amen.

Nice prayer Zarove, only I think I'd change the "I grant thee peace . . ." part since we can't give God peace. He already is the Prince of Peace and we have no peace of our own to give Him :-)David

Maybe to changing it to : Grant us peace or Grant me peace

Its liike " I bless thee"... One can argue that one cannot "Bless" Gpd, as God is vastly superior and needs nothign form us, but peopel blessed God in sirpture, its a corutesey...And its actual meaning is " Im shutting up now"...Notice its at the end of the Prayer...

Actually, to "bless" God as in Psalms, the meaning is to "praise, glorify, to speak well of". Just check Merriam-Webster. That's the very definition of worship. We can and should give God praise, but we don't have any peace of our own to give Him. You may want to rethink this one. I know you mean well.David

Again, this Prayer is written in 17th century ialouge, saying " I gran thtee peace" means the prayer is over and IM not bothering him any more.Readers, Unfortunately this forum closed due to maintence problems with the server.
