My mom is a legal immigrant from Germany, living here since 1973 and has never been in amy trouble. She is in trouble in Texas over passing bad checks...not sure if it's a felony yet because my mom is too scared to go. She is affraid she will be deported. Can you tell me what an aggrivated felony is and could she be deported over this. I do know that she has $507.00 worth of checks out, not inclu. warrant fees, etc. That is the only info. they will give me. Please help. I don't know how to help her other than I advised her to take care of it asap.
