To my dear friends on the east coast and mid west please send our snow back to Montana. We want it.

I live in a ski resort town and we have no snow the side walks are bare. We can't remember a january without snow. So when you pray the snow will go away, remember us folks in Montana that want the snow and pray it comes back to montana;-)

Seriously how did everyone fare with the snow storms, it really looked bad on TV. Last week we got up to 60 degrees in some parts of Montana.

What is going on with the weather patterns?

In Phladelphia it is cold (around 12 degrees) and ast week we received 12 inches of snow. Everywhere you go is snow and ice. They say next week should be warmer which means in the 30s and 40s. I cannot wait. I wish we could pack up all the snow and send it to Montana.

Bill and Mary we are having a very bizarre winter in Montana. In my town of Bozeman we have gotten down to 26 below zero and as high as 60 degrees within a 10 day period. The 60 degree is bizarre for us. The 26 below zero is normal for us at this time of year.

Mary we really want the snow. Without the snow it means terrible forest fires this summer.

The other thing too, we are prepared for the snow and ice. Since we usually have 6 months of it. Without snow our ski resorts are laying off peope, hotels are laying off people because the tourist that come from around the world are cancelling reservations, restraunts are hurting because we get so many tourist, since we are a ski resort town, snow has a huge impact on our economy.

Hey, bill a great journal article would be the "effects of snow on economies.;-)

Sister Denise...you can have your snow back! Last weekend 14 inches of snow was dumped upon the Metro Detroit area. This combined with sub-zero temps on Sunday really has an affect on church attendance. After enduring sub-zero, 20's and 30's don't seem too bad at all. If the temp reaches 40, I am breaking out the grill!!!

Brother Ray usually in January we are 25 to 30 below zero. But this year it has gotten as high as 60!

We still have no snow. And there is none forcast for the week, it is so sad, for we get our water from the snow pack. The town is empty the tourist aren't coming to ski.

And my snowshoe club hasn't been out for awhile. I wish there were away you could mail our snow back to us;-)

Dear Rev. Denise This will impress you as well. Bermuda has had temperatures drop, as a result of this same weather, down into the 40 degree area. colder than you up in the mountains.

World Climate and atmospheric changes have been more pronounced in these past couple of years. In addition the effects of substantially higher "Green House" gases is increasing the global temperature particularly the water. You will see this year a possible repeat of the same nasty hurricane season on Florida since the water temperature changes in the Atlantic have moved the Bermuda-Azores weather block more to the east than ever before. This means that hurricanes that would normally curve northerly up the the east coast between the Us and Bermuda now curve directly into Florida. I am checking the climate models being researched here in Bermuda. If they remain like last year than Florida better start preparations for a bust storm season. Blessings from Bermuda
