I have been in Florida for the past 4 years after overstaying since my arrival from Jamaica. My fiancee and i wish to get married, but when we went to the courthouse and i gave the lady there my passport, she asked me my purpose for being in the country and leafed through my passport looking for a visa. She asked me where it was and i panicked and came up with some stupid lie about it being at home. Can we get married at all? If so, how can we do so without me being questioned? Thank you
