I am surprised to read that people want to sell what they call a rear stand for the MV in order to ease the maintenance of the bike. This "rear stand" is only a support for the bike during transport in the wooden box and is not at all a stand made for regularly use.
Brett, if this is a stand you bought specially for regular maintenance then I don't mind you selling it, however if it is the stand for transport, then be aware that you sell the stand for something it is not designed for.
regards
Patrick

Thanks for your help Patrick.

I use the so called "made for transport only" rear stand on a daily basis and don't have a problem. Of course the other stands with wheels are easier to put up & down, but nothing really wrong with the stock stand.

The problem with the stock stand it that it is difficult to get the bike on and off. I added a bar for some leverage - the bar plus a couple of hose clamps was $3 and it makes the stand usable - not great but better than the way it came.
