The Need in the 16th District after Ivangreenspun.com : LUSENET : A.M.E. Today Discussion : One Thread |
Brothers and Sister We in Bermuda have already begun airlifting supplies to Jamaica and Grenada. The most urgent identified need is for bottled water, canned food, kerosene mini-stoves and plastic tarps. With the longer term needs of clothing and blankets. As the 16th is being battered again, this time by Hurrican Jeane the need will be even greater as they have not had a rest from violent storms in 4 weeks.I am asking that we all seek out times this weekend at home and in our Churches to pray for our Brothers and Sisters in the 16th. As one who survived the violent Catagory 5 Hurricane Fabian last September 5th I can tell you with great certainty you do not bounce back easily after a hurricane. These souls have now endured three right behind the other. I believe this is the hour God requires us to work together for his children. Let us be busy
The Blessing of the Lord upon you all in the name of Jesus the Christ
