I watched the movie a few times (like...a hundred)and found these mistakes:

1. When Rose is breaking the glass with the fire hose to get the ax, almost all the glass is broken away, and then suddenly, some more glass appears suddenly in tact.

2. The lake that Jack told Rose he went ice fishing on when she was threatening to jump is Lake Wissota, a man-made lake in Wisconsin near Chippewa Falls (where Jack grew up). The lake was only filled with water in 1918 when a power company built a dam on the Chippewa River, six years after the Titanic sank.

3. When Jack is showing Rose the picture of the one legged prostitue, and he turns the page, you can actually see the drawing but u have to use the slow mode with dvd...quite skanky.

4. When they are talking in the scene where Jack says 'you woulda gone straight to the bottom' Rose's hair moves from the front of her face to the back between shots.

5. In the drawing scene, Rose has shaved pits, but they didn't shave armpits back then.

6. The day after Jack saves Rose, they are walking along the promenade. A small hill with a building on it is visible over Jack's shoulder and above the ship.

7. Rose mentions Austrian psychoanalysist Sigmund Freud's ideas on the male preoccupation with size to Bruce. However this is 1912, and Freud did not publish the work relating to this until 1920 in "The Pleasure Principle." Also, up until 1919, Freud relied solely on data from females.

8. When Jack and Rose are going down with the ship, there is a man holding onto the flagpole. The man's life jacket disappears and reappears.

9. In the scene where Jack comes to the first class door for the first time in his tux you can see a cameraman in the glass door before he enters.

10. When Rose is arriving in New York half asleep, she looks at the Statue of Liberty, which is the same colour as now (green). But if you visit the statue of liberty, you'll find a plate telling you that the original color was brown, and it took over 35 years for it to change colour. The statue of liberty was placed there in 1886, so in 1912 it should have still been partly brown. Also, the flame was replaced in 1986 (for its 100th anniversary) with a gold flame. The film shows the Statue holding a torch with a gold flame, not the original.

11. When Jack and Rose finally come aboard the top of the ship after she rescues him they ask the Colonel if there are any boats left and he says "up that way" The woman on the left, who looks kind of pathetic, is then later seen on the life boat with Molly Brown. (They show her face right after Molly says the line "its your men out there") The life boat with Molly Brown in it was sent out before the scene with the Colonel, meaning that she must have gone on the life boat, swam back onto the ship and then back onto the lifeboat.

12. At the end of the dinner scene when the men rise to go to the smoking room Jack hands Molly a pen which he borrowed for writing the note for Rose but the note is clearly in pencil.

13. In the scene where the ship tilts to a vertical position, you see people falling and hitting objects on the deck. In a close up of that, you can see that a black and bronze-topped capstan has wrinkles in it and bends when someone hits it.

14. When Rose and Cal are on the private promenade drinking coffee, Cal puts his coffee cup on his saucer plate twice.

15. Right before dinner, Jack and Rose are talking to the Astors, and Molly comes up from behind them, asking Jack to escort her to dinner as well. In the next scene, when Cal calls back to Rose, Molly is still walking up to them.

16. In the scene where Kate Winslet pays Leonardo DiCaprio for the picture he drew, she pays with a Mercury head dime (not a Roosevelt dime as has already been submitted). The Titanic sank in 1912 and Mercury head dimes were not made until 1916.

All four funnels are smoking wehn one of them was actually a dummy, it just made the ship look more balanced, Rose's weight seems to fluxuate a bit during the film, Jack would not have spoken the way he does in the film in 1912,thats bout it I think?
