Any improvements for 04 MV SPRgreenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread |
I just got an SPR and I am wondering if there are any improvements I can make that are worth doing ie power commander vs chip better exhaust. I am 5-10 and 195lbs and I like riding a soft bike any suggestions on set up?

Yo! A softie, eh? The MV's is a very interesting bike to ride at. It's a love it or hate it situation. You can improve by adjusting the suspension depending on your weight & height. You also need to consider your riding style, whether you tend to cruise around town or speed up in the motorway, or simply slide into those sweepers uphill. You can add a power commander, play with the gearings by tinkering with the front & rear sprockets (Casoli), replacing it with a bigger airbox & air tube (QB carbon), bar risers also help a lot (Ferraci), and a lot more you can think of. Good luck & have a safe ride!

Improvements for SPR ??? LOL I rode one at Broadford circuit, and the thing was amazing...so far beyond a normal F4, and so far beyond my ability. My advice....leave it how it is, and just marvel at how good it is standard.
