Magnify not sorrows in thine own mind, nor let thy conciounce lay bare unto thy needs...

Srrow not a tthy past deeds this night, rest instea din surity and peace, for gnetle sleep is what thou needst.

Weep not for the evils worked in this world, not repose over the evils agaisn thtee, nor take midn of thine own sins...

Repent and let God guide thee into that blissful sleep, fall now and rest, for thou art weary, and sleep the good sleep, wile od tends thy affairs.

a psalm

1. I love the Lord, and will love him always, 2. My salvation, and Saviour, grace to him, the fortras of power, the refuge for my soul. 3. He saves me form mine enemies, and protectz me form harm. I call upon him for comfort, strength, and wisdom! 4. The Ungodly perish, but the righeous are saved throuh Grace by God. Death I fear not, for God is with me. 5. Sorrrows, Death, and Hell I have lived in, in sin and sufferage, boinded to destruction. 6. But in distress I called upon the Lord. 7. He heard my rayers, and saved me. 8. He came down, and savedme, and to me he bowed, as a servent, not as a master, so that I shoudl know his love for me. 9. He who can fly upon the wings of creation, and is Lord of eternity, came to me, and blessed me, saying that I am loved. 10. In Darkness he dwells, and yet in light, he who made all things. 11. His is the eternal way, the way of power above all powrs. 12. Yet he loved me, and came to me, from trancendence. For this I Serve him, Amen.

St. Alphonsus Liguori talks about how God instructs the Faithful in their sleep.

If you're interested, I'll dig up the source for you.

Zarove,

Beautiful work. The love of God and the peace of the soul in the words you wrote reminds me a bit of that poem by St. John of the Cross in Dark Night of the Soul.

Do you have more?

Zarove,

I cried as I read these, for it was at a particular moment when I was in emotional distress and hurt due to circumstances in my life, specifically one event. Truly touching and encouraging. Do you have any more to share?

Zarove,

It just struck me that the sleep you mention in your poem could be the sleep of death. Your words would be comforting for someone who dies and may have worries for their loved ones about what will happen after they leave this world. Not sure you meant this when you wrote it. It just struck me as one possible aspect of your poem.

That it can, or any other sort of sleep that riss... literal sleep, a mental sleep, sleep in the sence of inactivity... the poem is flexible, and can , an shoudl, be used in any caacity that it brigns comfort.
