Voting For Bishop Voting for Bishop will take place today Monday July 5, 2004. Though voting was to take place at 9 A.M. as of 9;30 A.M. EST. Doors were not open for delegates to go into the room to vote. Candidates are still campaigning, with musical selections, hand outs being put under doors and advertising on closed circuit T.V. Copies of legislation was not given out until Sunday July 4th.
All Lay organization proposals that were submitted to committee for review have passed through committee and will be voted on at general conference. There are 18 pieces of legislation.
Correction Posted Friday July 2, 2004 Yolanda Adams did not perform at the Lay Organization breakfast As was reported in the program that was given to delegated. But Melba Moore performed and did an outstanding job.
