An announcement was made this past Sunday at our church that Ray Charles left $2 million dollars in his will for Wilberforce University. The announcement stated that Ray Charles earmarked the $2 million dollars for scholarships for music students who will attend the university. Did anyone else hear about this? If this is true, it is truly a blessing. Wilberforce has a good music department; however, this money will help make it one of the best of the HBCU's. God bless you all.

I wasn't aware that this issue was discussed in a previous thread. The minister who mentioned the $2 million dollars discussed it as if it were some "new phenomenon", not something that originally occurred in 2001. God bless.
