My friend who was hired for 1st shift beer pour recently found out he will not be able to work or attend the festival. Is there any way I would be able to take his position? I was already hired for a different position, but would much rather have beer pour.

Hi Mandy,

Our first priority is making sure as we can that past employees (people who worked at the festival in the previous year), get the positions and shifts they prefer.

Once that's taken care of (explained in the "Hiring Process" on the "Frequent questions" page), we tend to start "going with the flow," and ordinarily we don't have a problem doing that kind of thing -- as long as we hear from the person who can't make it, and as long as the we have an application on file from the person wanting to take their place. And under normal circumstances, because you've already been hired, we'd have no problem with you replacing your friend.
