The intensity of Candidates for Bishop and General Office "2004" can best be described among candidates of the A.M.E. Church as they journey is about to end in traveling to annual conferences, planning meetings and church school convention meetings and greeting delegates amd laypersons. A concern of many Women In Ministry are interested in electing another "Female Bishop" such as Presiding Elder Carolyn Guindry of the 5th Episcopal District, because of her administrative abilities as an Elder and vision of expansion for the church. And with the team efforts of Bishop McKenzie and Candidate Guindry would be more of a viable asset to our church. Candidates Arnell, Attles, Champion, Gillison, Hill, Hensford, Leath, Reid, Simmions, Thompson, Turk, Tyler and Waddy and others are networking with delegates across the connectional church in finding out the needs of the church and the laity concerns. Candidate for General Office; Carrie Nobles, 1st district is pursuing Editor of the A.M.E. Recorder, she brings to the General conference as a candidate a mission for journalism as a ministry for training and preparation of our youth as journalist from each episcopal district in teaching generations to come. Earl Jefferson, 1st district, a candidate for the Director of Christian Education is trained, experienced as has acquired the passion through his past positions as Director of Christian Education on the Episcopal level to continue the legacy of teaching and understands that this ministry is the backbone to all other ministries in a local church. Hunter, Wade, Capers and Floyd will bring diversity to the Department of Church Growth and Development. Let us Fast snd pray for all of our candidates that delegates would allow God to control their decisions in voting for another great Leadership of Episcopal Leaders.
