I'm not sure if we're allowed to post on these verses threads or not... but I'll give it a shot. David, these were some good ones today - where do you get all these verses from, some kind of database? I mean there are many verses in the Bible that alone would just sound weird. lol.Anyway, I was thinking about this one:
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out! Romans 11:33 / KJV
I laughed at myself as I thought of this forum. We all try to explain and understand God and His ways, when really, our knowledge is so limited. I heard something about St. Thomas Aquinas - not sure if it's true or not. But he is considered to be the greatest Catholic theologian for his work. Well I heard that near his death he saw a vision of heaven or something and said of his work, "It's all rubbish," because he realized that in comparison to the greatness of God, he understood nothing. Amazing, huh? I am very excited for heaven! lol :)
