I have recently traded my F4S in for the new 1000cc bike which should, fingers crossed, arrive here in Australia towards the end of July. Has anyone heard much about them yet?. Ive read the specs on a few websites, but they just say teh same old thing.

I think your the first person I've heard of that has ordered one.

I did contact a few U.S. dealer to find out when the Mille would be in the States and how much. They said late summer/early fall and the price would be in the low $20s USD. I figure it will be about the same price as the SPR.

There's a thread on MVF4S.com about the 750s being discontinued in lieu of the Mille.

Production has been switched to the liter bike for the last cople of months so they should be rolling into showrooms any moment now.

Also they have just announced an Final Edition model for the 750 which from the MCN description sounds like the 750 AGO bikes that were built some time ago, but without the upgraded wheels. They say they will only be £300 more than the standard F4S so a bit of a bargain.

In the newest issue of the german bike magazin MOTORRAD the have a test report of the 1k F4. They write that they are the first which could test one on the roads. Check www.motorradonline.de So they should arrive soon in the european market.

If these bloke discontinue the 750F4, then we are in for a ride! First, our bikes will be a rare of a find and the price to get this bikes -- say in 10 years or so, will have multiplied ten-folds. I will save my F4 then and earn my $$$$ on it. Second, this is a much better good looking bike than the new ones that looks like an abstract paint art for kids. C'mon, they can do better than that I guess, this is heritage we are talking here. I love the paint job of the 'ol bike, though they don't do much to compete with the japs, they still look graceful and beautiful.....

Hello guys, last weekend I was in the east of Germany where a race with one F4 1000 should happen. But for that race it is necessary to have built 1000 peaces of that bike. But up to that moment only 150 F4 1000 have been built (I saw there 4 F4 1000 in reality). So the MV race team had to start with the 750 engine and earned the 4th starting place against the others 1000 ccm like Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha and Kawasaki ... But in the race was only the 9th place possible. Not bad for a bike with 40 hp less. My F4 1000 will arrive in the next two weeks. My dealer told me that he has already the bill from the factory ... a good sign. - ANDRÉ

Has anyone on this site ever riden a modern MV with over 750cc's? I have. I've had a deposite on an f5/f4 1000 for almost three years & my dealer has not mentioned any of this to me but, if it is true I would not be the least bit suprised.
