I was tired of messing around with 1/4 pound roasters and didnt want to spend 3-$12,000 for a large quantity roaster so I designed my own and had it professionaly fabricated.The result is a rugged propane fired coffee roaster that can handle 3+ pounds of coffee. I can achive any roast I want with full control of the whole process. There is also a cooling tray equiped with a fan for chaff removal. The roasting chamber is an almost indestructable stainless steel drum with 4 agitating fins that make for a beautiful even roast every time. The drum is powered by an electric heat shielded motor.I couldnt be hapier with the "BEAN BOSS" (as I named it). It resembles a quality gas grill and due to the large amount of roast smoke and the use of propane ,outside use is manditory.I am now able to enjoy the freshest coffee, only roast once a week, and have coffee to spare for friends.
