I work at a restaurant and I was told when I was hired that if you have even a cold you needed to call in sick. I have a really bad cold, i called in sick on Monday and i called in sick on Wednesday. When i called in sick the second day my boss told me that i needed a doctors note or I would be written up. Isn’t there a law saying they can’t ask for a doctor’s note unless you’ve called in sick for three days?
