I have a silver f4 with the rg3 slips..Has anyone else experienced their ass end being hazed by the heat..the whole underside of the tail section is browned..and it's wrapping around the tail lights. When people point it out, I just say it adds character...not looking for a display bike, but curious if its happening to others.

Yes, the same has happened to my diamonte as well...but i have since painted the bike red and no problems so far.

Solution, I took the tail to a bodyshop and they buffed it right off.

Good Wax... Ribbing Alcohol, liberally and freshly applied... Repeat as needed...

I also use good wax to protect the surface from browning. No other problems, it just wips away!

Since it looks as if you are in the US I'd also suggest Plexus. Any of the above work along with plexus for the painted tail and lenses.

Regular cleaning helps.
