I have been watching the U.S. News of late and see the story of Whitney Houston seeking help for substance abuse. Luther Vandross healing slowly from a terrible health experience. I seek your prayers for these and others who may see worldly success but have challenges bigger then themselves. Our prople need prayer and mine is for you all. God Bless You

Thanks for the prayer request. I will certainly be praying for Whitney Houston.she impacted on my life very recently.We had a rerun of her movie ,the Preachers Wife. I was ill and when she sang "I love the Lord" It seems that God was speaking to me .I wept, because that is exactly how I feel.I love the Lord, He heard my voice. i thank God for that song and therefore I wish I could say to her that she should watch the Last part of that movie and listern to herself proclaim her love for the Lord. It is'nt that I would not pray for other celebrities but I believe God used that song and the way she sang it to get me up from my bed with new courage,new hope and a fresh love for Jesus. ThankYou Whitney may the Lord come through for you as well. God bless

Yes indeed we need to pray for all those who are in the limelight...TO GET SAVED AND FILLED WITH THE HOLY GHOST. You know even in the church arena we need to pray for our preachers and ministers who in the national and international spotlight, that they do not get caught up in glitz and glamour of being a "Gospel Superstar" and liek the Word says "Preach the Word, in season and out of season"....."rightly divinding the word of truth". We need to get "hollywood" out of the church and put "church" into Hollywood.
