Hallo!I'm doing a polish translation of the Vian's "les Bâtisseurs d'empire ou le Schmürz" to my study exam and i've a problem to find a meaning of name Schmürz. I feel that this name has got the important influence on my understanding this play. I suppose that this word is conected to Collège de ‘Pataphysique, am I right?I don't understand why he used the german name in this play? I'll be grateful for Your help!!! Regards!

"Schmürz" is built from the word "Schmerz" which means "pain" in German (Vian's wife Ursula spoke German). Regards.
