Omniscient, Omnipotent, existing from everlasting to everlasting. What is God's purpose in man?

Genesis 1:28 NKJV] Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”Ephesians 2:4 NKJV] But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

God did NOT set us free. Aaron DID!

Ron asks -"What is God's purpose in man?"
My answer: To liberate us from sin and conquer evil. Please consult I John 3:8. QED

To cc, If Aaron set you free, then worship Aaron. And may the blessings of Aaron be upon you and the "us" that you refer to.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. 11 For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. 12 We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. (1 Cor 2:10-13)NIVDearest Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
DEEPER! Examine the whole. From Beginning to End; From Law to Faith; From Sin to Salvation; From Adam to Christ. What is this whole thing about? Why would the Lord God Almighty create man in the first place? Why would His Holiness endure the sinful, ungrateful creature? and then redeem him? What is God's purpose in man?
When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him a little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. You made him ruler over the works of your hands; you put everything under his feet: all flocks and herds, and the beasts of the field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas. O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! (Ps 8:3-9)NIV

There is a song that says "I was created to worship Him". And as I read that scripture .... I cannot help but worship God.Carmen

A better question is: What is Bod's purpose in ME?
-- Anonymous, February 10, 2004
That is a better question. God's purpose in me. I like this scripture: 1 Peter 2 9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;I have been chosen from the foundation of the world, into a place of royalty, not by earthly measures, but heavenly. I must always be willing to act as intercessor for those in need of prayer and are unable to pray for themselves. I am part of the mystical Body of Christ, set apart from the world, called for the purpose of praising God, by being obedient to his word, and walking in my gift; not for self gratification or adoration, but as an instrument to bring others into this same calling.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. (1 John 4:8)NIV In your unfailing love you will lead the people you have redeemed. (Ex 15:13)NIV You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies...(Matt 5:43-44)NIV
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.' The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:30-31)NIV
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." (John 13:34-35)NIV
Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13)NIV
I submit - God's purpose in man is Love - its all about Love. Meditate on this.

Last month, I read Rick Warren’s Purpose Driven Life. It is an excellent book and I recommend it to anyone who want to find there purpose in God. These ideas come from the Purpose Driven Life book.(1) Worship- you were planned for God's pleasure. “God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth” Jn 4:24 NIV Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. 1Chronicles 16:29
(2) Fellowship- you were formed to be part of God's family. Acts 2:41-47, "Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. 43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; 45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, 47 Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved."
(3) Discipleship- you were created to become like Christ. Romans 8:28-29, "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren."
(4) Ministry- you were shaped for God's service. Romans 12:1-2, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
(5) Mission- you were made to tell others about Christ. Matthew 28:18-20, "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."
Be Blessed of the Lord!!!
