Could someone please tell me some interesting facts about Poe, something no one else would know, I have a paper and a poster due on him and i cannot find anything on other posters i've seen already etc. THANK YOU

Poe's mother was an actress and when he was a baby she would leave him backstage while she performed. She would dip the end of a cloth in whiskey to quiet him. He was also a drug addict....not sure about what it was called but I think it was actually opium. This probably explains a little bit about why his writing was so far out and some of it downright creepy.

Well he married his COUSIN who was 13 and he was 27!!! Then after she died he was depressed for a little then went on married and devorcing many other women, and for his last girl Sarah Royster, right before he married her in 1849 he went on a three day drinking binge and died from it, so he never married her.

OK so get this he died of heavy drinking. ok don't drink and drive. well i don't think they had cars back them, but for now he has taught many people about the wrongs things and right. Also never ever marry a cousin that just nasty unless it's a disant cousin and they are really really hot, maybe then, but what poe did was bad bad.
