I worked for Walmart for 11 years. I am a very honest and hardworking associate. I was off on Tues. due to bad weather. THat afternoon, I purchased a PS2. I then went to return the one that did not work. The customer representative associate stated that the serial number did not match the receipt and she could not do the return. I told her I did not know the serial number and receipt had to match but thanks. I then took my PS2 home and returned to work the following day. I was sent home at 1100 and told to return at 300. I explained what I did and was sent home while they decided if they were going to fire me. Thurs came and went. THen Fri. So I called late Friday and was told I was lucky they did not prosecute me!!
