I am requesting any information regarding my great-grandfather John Riley Eddins who was born April 15, 1840 and died on March 11, 1926 in Stanly County, North Carolina. I am also seeking information on my great-grandmother the former Ann Eliza Thompson. Thompson was married to a local minister before his death. John's name was misspelled in the civil war ledgers as "Eddings" where he served with the 26th Regiment, Company K. Thank-you in advance for any assistance!
