Does anybody know how to play recorded VCD's on a Bush 2523? I cannot get the DVD player to recognise the CD. Is there a hack?

that unit doesnt play CD-R !!!!!!!!!!!

The unit seems to work with WAV and MP3 audio CD-R's. Is it a problem with VCD's on CD-R media only? Can you get firmware updates?

Check the DVD Player Compatibility List at http://www.vcdhelp.com to see what it says about your player. I have never heard of this model, but some DVD players are known to not support CD-R and there are some models that won't play VCD on any media, not even commercially produced discs.
