Good one, Jay :-) :-)!!Hey, did you folks know that the electric cars are causing all kinds of problems when they've been involved in accidents? Seems that a few rescue workers have been electrocuted while trying to open these cars to rescue trapped occupants. We all really should go back to the horse and buggy!!!!

EM...I didn't read it anywhere. Harry told me about it. One of our customers works at the county sheriffs office as a dispatcher. The info came through that office. I'll get Harry to check into it further and see if we can come up with hard evidence. From what I've heard these cars have some heavy duty cables running throughout the vehicles...including the doors. When the rescue workers try to release the doors to free the occupants, they get zapped sometimes 'cause the cables have been severed in the accident!! Disconnecting the batteries to it is tricky also!

EM...I asked Harry about the problems with the electric cars. It was a tow/ramp truck driver who told him about the possiblity of electrocution. This guy drives for AAA and they send him teletypes all the time about what to do and what NOT to do when picking up stranded/accident vehicles. And the customer who verified it for us is the local dispatcher. Sure wish they'd get the "bugs" out of new inventions before they test them on the general public!!!!
