I encountered a situation where on Dover Composite equipment, the door hold time is canceled once the infrared door detector is interrupted causing the doors to close immediately. ADA requires a door hold time of at least 3 seconds. Is it a matter of adding a relay(s) to achieve this function or is it a matter of rewiring the circuit?

Most likely blocking a single contact would disable that feature.

you have a problem with the in and 105 cicuit that cancelles door time especially if ya got the old black buttons

I'D HAVE TO AGEE WITH THE BAD BUTTON THEORY-DICONNECTING THE 105 ON ALL CAR CALL BUTTONS SHOULD GIVE YOU BACK YOUR ADJ ON DOOR TIME! GOOD LUCK AND BE CAREFUL
