I have a JVC GR-DVL300. I lost the com port interface that came with the camera. Footage from the camera is distorted when I capture it using firewire to my XP machine using MS MovieMaker. The footage looks normal in the LCD, but is all pixeled in the .avi file. I have tried all the formats available in MSMM, unchecked the "Show preview during capture" box, and have all updated drivers for my computer. I have tried all the help files and both MS and JVC websites (no help). Any suggestions, besides buying a new camera? Thanks. Josh
