Dear Brother in Islam, Can you please advise me of the percentage of the zakat for this year and how to calculate it.

One other question and that is if I had one thousand pounds in the bank last year and i deducted zakat on that saving and then on the following year the one thousand minus the zakat is now in the bank do I have to deduct zakat the following year ?
