Which is the suitable and economic 70 - 300 mm lens for Nikon FM10 body? and where can i find the same in singapore? used one also fine. thanks, Mano

the classic Nikkor AF75-300mm f4.5-5.6. (should be around S$350/ used)only available in 2nd hand shops. economic to me means using lenses that are not in the 'professional' ranges such as the f2.8 series.

if u're thinking of getting the new Nikon AF70-300 f4.5-5.6ED (don't know the price) lens, i suggest u save ur money. it is crappy and it is not as well-built as the classic 75-300.

by well-built, i'm referring to the construction of the lens and how 'strong' it is. built like a tank etc.

picture quality wise, i'm unsure as i don't use this 70-300 lens.

if u're really on a tight budget, then get the AF70-300 f4.5-5.6G (don't know the price, but should be relatively cheaper than the non- G series)lens, which i personally hate(sorry, but i hate the G series). but it is cheap and it is really economical.
