I downloaded a game from suprnova, it is max payne 2, but when it was finished the only things that downloaded where 2 files called "cd1" and "cd2" and a deviance.nfo which I don't know what it is. I don't know what to do next, I heard that I need to rip it, but how and with what. please help me with this one.

For MaxPayne, it should be a .bin file and a .cue file for cd1 or cd2 or maybe a .iso (I doubt). They are all cd-image files and your file`s extenstion should look like example (ex: cd1.cue, cd1.bin, cd1.iso). You can use applications Alcohol 120% or Nero Burning Rom to burn those images to CD (I prefer Alcohol). For the 2 programs, you have to find something like ¨burning image file¨ in the program to burn. For the .bin-.cue file, choose the .cue to burn. For the iso file, choose the .iso file to burn.

But come on, for Max Payne 2, I kind of buy 2 games a year and MP2 is on my list. The next one on the list spells like doom...lol

i have a quesion too..okay i dl the game called Midnight Club 2 its on a bin and cue file i open up nero try to burn it but nero says the file is too big. blank cd is not enough so i checked the size on the bin its say 808MB.. how do u burn this in 700MB blank cd???

you can't, just get cds with larger capacity; they are rare but can be found all over ebay.search "870mb cdr"

the thing is that when I downloaded the game, it didn't come in either bin and cue, or ISO, or any image file, just 2 files called cd1 and cd2 filled with compressed files. I heard that you need to rip these files in order to make them images (bin, cue)

you just extracted the files twice then you will end up with a bin and cue file, burn and play

Also use winrar to check if the files might be corrupt becuase files from superova tend not to work.
