why do some animes have terrible freaking endings???(not a serious question)greenspun.com : LUSENET : Animes : One Thread |
I just finished up watching GTO(Great Teacher Onizuka) and i must say it was great series until i saw the ending. Which IMO was garbage- it was definitely rushed the last two episodes were too serious in comparison to the whole series. Anybody wanna add up follow comments. Im done ranting.

The only anime that lived up to the ending in the manga version that I've seen so far is dbz. If you want a good ending for GTO, read the manga. It has a whole other story arc after the anime version ends and I think the ending was better in the manga.

I haven't checked, but see if these channels on irc work. http://www.greenspun.com/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg.tcl?msg_id=00BSeU Sorry, I didn't feel like copying all those channels so I'm putting up the url for that thread. There isn't really any websites that I know of that let you download directly or even use bittorrent to distribute the manga. if you want to get the anime, go to http://appleshare.no-ip.com . They have the anime series on BT there, but you gotta sign up to download GTO (it's free). A word of warning... the file sizes of the anime episodes are ridiculous. 1.3 GB for like 3 episodes. Good luck.

Read the manga. The ending is way much better than anime. I almost cry!?!?! for the manga`s ending LOL. The anime`s storyline changed approx at the half way of the manga. Still, the anime covers a lot of good part of manga, but the manga`s ending is just better.

I haven't seen GTO... i will someday, but ti's not first on my list... if I do have a list, lol... but I know what you mean about rushed endings, I think a lot of anime series need more planning in to them for the amount of time they plan on running... aka DN Angel..
