Today I sent a note to Apple ...

I have purchased music from one or more Macs at my last job. I did not deauthorize these computers before I left the organization. I did not fully understand how the authorization worked at the time of my departure. I would like to see a list of computers authorized for my account, spannman@carr.org and I would then like to possible remove some of them.

I received this response from Apple ...

We have manually deauthorized your registered systems from the Music Store. You can now reauthorize the computers that you intend to use. To protect our customers' privacy this is not a service that is generally performed. However, given the nature of your situation we have made an exception. If you're selling a computer or plan to no longer use it, make sure you've deauthorized it before you no longer have access to it.

I use 3 computers (2 Mac and 1 Windows) at work on a daily basis and another 4 computers (4 Macs) on my home LAN. I usually make the purchases from the work computers because my work has a fast internet connection and I do not at home. Given that I am constantly rotating between machine, am I expected to authorize, use and then deauthorize from each machine on a daily basis? Are there any potential issues by authorizing/deauthorizing so often?
