One thing that has been bothering me as I search the scriptures is the fact that we are made to believe we are made in God's Image. I find this hard to accept, if so, what was the purpose of Jesus Dying on the cross? Was it not to restore the image that we lost ?

Man was created good and upright. God created us in His own image. God said, "Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness." However, man by voluntary transgression fell and thereby incurred not only physical death but also spiritual death, which is separation from God. Th corruption of the nature of every man is called "Original Sin." It goes back to Adam, the first man. Please read the scriptures also!!!!!!

Man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We are saved by faith in Christ and by that faith alone. Good works cannot save us. The sacrifice of the Lord Jesus is for the sins of the entire world, both original sin and actual sin. There is no other way of salvation, but through the Lord Jesus Christ

Salvation can be obtain through a prayer like this:

Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I believe that Jesus died on the cross for me, for my sin and physical rose from the dead. Please forgive me of my sins and cleanse me with your blood. I ask you to come into my heart and live within me. Change my heart, Lord, to be what You want me to be. Thank you Lord Jesus for salvation, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
