Is it just me or does edonkey move slower than dirt. I just got edonkey but I figured its just kazaa with a different name right or is there something to it I'm missing and thats why the whole thing takes like a week and 1/2 to get a small 12mb file?

No, it's not just you. A lot of stuff can be found on eDonkey, but actually downloading it is the real challenge. It's really really slow for me, so I don't advise it.
