Does any one have a complete list of persons who are running for General Officers in 2004? Most of the inormation out there is about those who are sunning for Bishop. Thanks

Candidates for General Officer positions should have their paperwork filed with Dr. Fugh's office in Nashville, TN. I would suggest you contact Fugh's office since he is the General Secretary for the AMEC. QED

To E.H. Brown, Thank you for your response. However, I think that you left out Rev. Teresa Fry Brown from the 5th who is running for Director of Christian Education. The offical website does not have all of the names either.

The Director of Christian Education from the 1st District, Earl Jefferson, is also a General Officer candidate for Director of Christian Education. I don't want to appear picky E.H. but I believe Dr. L.A. Gatewood's pastoral charge is actually in Alabama (9th) although hedoes live in Florida (11th). So, I'm not sure which District will be be represented from, home or work. Similarly, Katherine advances the name of Teresa Fry Brown from the 5th as a candidate for General Officer for Christian Ed. Dr. Brown is a faculty member of the Candler School of Theology @ Emory University located in Atlanta, GA (6th). Again, is it the home District or work district which matters? QED
