thanks to everybodys help ive been able to get as far as being on the queue list...but when im on it..it tells me its going to disconnect me for being idle...what do i do?

Dont worry... when you are idle, only that CHAT ROOM is going to be disconnected.

As long as you stay connected to the channel where the fserver is, it should be okay to close the window.

What coldcell said. Once you've finished queueing up your stuff, it's okay to close the chat window. In fact many fserv owners get upset when you don't, so do it and just remain in the channel until you've got your file.

Once you have queued the files you want from a certain f-serve close the f-serve window. Most people will ban someone from their f-serve if they find people camping in it. Stay in the channel they are serving in and eventually the download will start. Personally I like XDCC bots. Much faster without the long queues, but they typically only have the newest releases.

ok what do u do when u have the dir list and you look it over and then u type cd SHAMAN KING (for example) then u go to one that says [\shaman king] what do u type there?? i tried changing directories again but it doesn't work

After cd SHAMAN KING, type dir for a list of files in that folder and repeat the cd and dir commands as often as necessary until you come across actual zip/jpg/avi files or whatever you're looking for. They should have the file sizes next to them, that's how you know you've hit the jackpot. Now, once you have that, type "get (filename)" without the () and the quotes. Copy the filename and extension correctly but leave out the filesize. And that's it.
