Well, I don't profess to have detailed historical knowledge about these issue but here is my best try.

Answer #1 - William Paul Quinn. I'm sure given Quinn's age he was present at the 1st General Conference.

OK, Mary so when will you provide the correct answer to #3? I think I should be given at least a consolation prize since prior to joing an AME church in the mid-90s the only 19th century Bishops I knew where Allen, Turner, Payne and Morris Brown. In retrospect, I suppose it was a good thing during my earlier church-hopping days that I paid attention to some of Dr. Pruitt's sermons when I would visit Metropolitan AME in DC. Admittedly, there were other "reasons" for why I was a frequent guest in his church :-) QED

Actually, brother Dickens you did very well. Bishop Payne was required to post $1000 bond for good behavior in Washington, DC.
