ok OGM. or OGG format, what the hell is up with it?

first dont get mad.....i'm pretty sure ogm and ogg is better anyways.. ogm and ogg are like dvd rip....u can choose subitites on and off and choose english or japenses..so in a sence its almost like a dvd but smaller.. to play it u need speical players able to play it...not the codecs

.ogg, .ogm files are from "OGG VORBIS" a spaceship name in an old anime (with I forgot the name). It's a linux audio and video files type. There is apps to convert em into avi files on the net.

It's an old spaceship name? I thought for sure it was from Nanny Ogg and Vorbis in the Terry Pratchett books. Ah, disappointment, I almost thought they were cultured.

You need xvid codec to watch the video part of an ogm file just like a normal avi file since both format uses xvid video compression alot. You need vobsub that allows you to control subtitle, oggds to play the sound(not too sure about this one but d/l it anyways), ffdshow, and media player classic.
p.s. avi can also be dvdrip.
