I'm considering a 2000 MV F4 that i've seen for sale. I'm currently on a CBR6 & have had a ZX7R & 748. I basically would like to know, what they are like to ride in terms of power delivery. I had a 748 & didn't enjoy it due too it being such hard work & having too dip the clutch all the time. At low speeds it always felt like it was going to stall or spit me off. I am a real moron when it comes to technical stuff, but I know the 748 was a v twin. Is the MV a v twin & like the duke? I know neither bike is made for going slow or commuting, but I need to know what they are like, because I won't get a test ride first. So at low revs are they smooth with power? Hello Phil,

I currently own a '94 ZX-7 as well as my 2002 MV Agusta F4S. I love both machines and the great thing about the MV is that it handles even better than the ZX-7 because it is just as stable but even more flickable. The power delivery down low is very docile on the MV, in fact, it could use a little more power down low but a lot of that has to due with the fact that the factory geared the motorcycle for top end. I am sure with a larger sprocket on the rear that this will help it quite a bit.

I as most on this site also did not get a test ride before purchase but can assure you that you will not be disappointed with the motorcycle. I urge you however to make sure that the replacement updates like the faulty fuel line and front brakes stuff has been done. Good luck on whatever you decide to do.
