This just in:Rev. Harper,
Thank you for your interest in the AME Today website. Currently, we are in the process of bringing the website up to date in the First District. It will be up and operating soon. We'll keep you posted.Bishop Z.L. Grady
Presiding Prelate First Episcopal District Of the AME Church

Parson Harper -I'm not quite sure how to interpret this message from Bishop Grady. Does this mean the 1st District will be assuming management of the website? Can we expect some changes in content, design and network security? Will the next Bishop in the 1st District honor this committment? Despite my "nagging questions", I'm pleased to hear at least the initial interest by Grady's office to continue this important area of ministry. However, as I have learned on this AME journey, I'll remain cautiously optimistic. QED

Your guess is as good as mine.....stay tuned...

I don't think I would like it to become a 1st District managed project; it would surely lose some of its independence.

I believe the First District's website is currently under renovaction. He is not referring to AME Today.
