Workplace massage

Its very simple - someone pays - and the therapist gets a benefit called money. As far as the client is concerned it can be a non confronting introduction to the benefits of massage. As for the boss he feels good by allowing the staff to have 'time off' work to get a 'massage'. Usually there is little time available to take an thorough case history or do any specific treatment.

Sure, I undersatnd the 'money' thing, but in my opinion more harm is caused to the client than good!

Relaxing people at their desks, relieving their pain, loosening their tight muscles, increasing their flexibility and advising on posture and stretching to avoid further trouble can hardly be called harmful! Sue W
