Greetings all!

I am in the exploratory stages of seeking Bush's faith based initiative office for grants that can be used by our small college-run ministry in Staunton, Virginia.

Does anyone have any experience in finding grant applications and applying? If so, could you please forward information and input concerning this process?

Hello Shauna,

From my days as a grad student at Hampton U, I remember we would consult the " Federal Register" for government grants and the Foundations Directory for private grants. For private grants, one needs to know when these grants are posted. Also, your college should have a development office which can be a valuable source of information. Normally, colleges and universities have officers who work along with the deans and professors to submit these grants.
