I'm new to this chicken thing. We recently relocated to the country and inherited 4 chickens and a rooster. Is there anything I should not be feeding them?

Answers

Don't feed them any kind of meat products that haven't been cooked, before giving it to them. Don't feed them more in table scraps than they can clean up within a reasonable amount of time. Chickens can get sick from spoiled food, just like you. Contrary to the way some countryliving books make it sound, they are not garbage disposers.
