Ok We are all familiar (hopefully) with project .hack. My question is relating to .hack//SIGN. What the hell happen? Honestly I get what ever is happening in the show now but how did this come to be? Why is there a floating girl? Why doesn't Maha or Baka (I have no idea how to spell that cats name) talk? Why in like the middle beginning of every show that it kind of blanks out you see pictures and they're lips moving but no sound then it sort of comes back?

from what I can find, .hack//sign is one part of the saga, now you get to watch .hack liminality and .hack//dusk (16 or so more eps if I recall right), and if you're really feeling energetic, play get .hack game, supposedly, this is supposed to help fill in the gaps of 'what the hell?!' Least so I hope.

1)finnish watching the series because the floating girl plays a big part in it. I really dont wanna spoil the series on the first question 2)for your second question I dont even know that 1 but maha has 1 of the best scenes in the anime IMO. 3)And with the people moving their lips usually thats when the anime cuts to "Real life" outside the world. I dont watch the dub so I dont know if the have text will thats happenning but the subs do.

First of all, It's Maho, not Maha...they just pronounce it differently in the dubbed. Maho talks, but for some reason Tsukasa is the only one who can hear him. Aura is supposedly the saviour of the game. If you have ever played any of the .Hack// video games, they explain it more. And it explains what they said later...as for how the game and everything came to be, I have an explanation, but it's REALLY long, I might post it elsewhere though. ^^
