does anyone know if you can hook up a ditgital video camera to your computer and record episodes from there and put them onto a tape???

I suppose it could be possible with the right equipment. But why not just use a VCR or digital cable?

Any digital video camera can be connected to a computer (that's why they're called digital). Now, some of them don't have a line-in recording feature so you'd have to check that. Next you'd have to check what ports the camera uses... USB1.1 is way too slow to do what you want to do, you want FireWire or USB2.
