i have the ranma movie nihao my con cubine that i dl off the net but when i try to play it i only get audio and no picture. my windows media player says sending request for codec then says downloading codec then says error in codec. i already have divx. why is there no picture?

because most of the ranma on the net are only sound....or maybe a glitch...i have both those movies on dvd tobad though nihao my concubine is really funny....i'd give u mine but i dought ur any where near chicopee springfield or holyoke mass

I had that problem with many downloaded anime and fixed it by installing the divx codec availible for free online, you might give that a try, so far it's fixed 99.9% of my problems.

try to look for a program called ffdshow. It will help the media player to play some files that has the problem of sound but no picture.

also look for a program called gspot. It's not anything perverted but the program is called gspot. It helps you identify if u have the codec u need to play files. If you don't have it, they will reconmend one to you.
