Yeah, there are only six episodes and its really fooly cooly, not furi kuri, but when written in the Japanese script, Kanji, it comes out to be "Furi Kuri" which can means a bunch of things. Also, if you pay close attention near the end of Episode 6 you can see a magazine featuring Mamimi's photo of Naota holding Haruko's/Rahal's bass, underneath which it says in English, "Fooly Cooly."

Fooly Cooly, Furi Kuri, FLCL, doesn't matter. Personally, I say Furi Kuri also.

no clue about the whole second season thing but just a few corrections need to be made 1. the correct spellings are : FLCL Furi Kuri - which isn't in kanji but in katakana 2 different charecter types buddy they aren't that hard to confuse- Fooly Coolly - if u looked closer to the magazine you'd notice 2 L's in Coolly just thought you might want to know got sumthin to say then e-mail me
